Item: Victorian cobalt Bohemian glass patch box. In the late 18th century after a small pox epidemic it became fashionable to wear skin colored patches over pok marks which eventually gave way to beauty mark patches. This example was made in the Bohemian glass making region we now know as the Czech Republic. Though many manufacturers once existed many of these little boxes are attributed to Moser.
