Item: This is a souvenir spoon from Cowes, England famous for it's yachting races and regattas. It has an enameled shield on the top with as sailing ship as the subject and the word Vectis underneath. The bowl is engraved Cowes and on the reverse it is marked with the lion passant and other familiar English marks that indicate it was made in Sheffield by Thomas Bradbury & Sons in 1924.
