Item: This is a gown made by Oscar de la Renta in the 1980's. It is black velvet with a tulle bodice covered with multi-colored rhinestones and green, red, blue and silver glass beads. It measures about 28" at the waist. In modern terms this is about 4/6. Across the chest from underarm to underarm it measures about 16". The full length of the gown from the top of the collar down the back to the bottom of the hem is 56". I don't see any stains or damage to the velvet. There is a tiny hole in the tulle near the eye hook fastener at the back of the collar and there is one missing bead on the bow. Otherwise the condition is near mint.
