Item: This is a beautifully hand carved vintage cameo brooch / pendant combo in a sterling silver setting made in Italy. The winged figure depicted is the Goddess Fortuna the Roman God of fortune and prosperity. She brings with her a cornucopia or horn of plenty - a centuries old symbol of abundance. The setting has a retractible loop on the back allowing you to add a chain and convert the brooch to a pendant for added versatility. The frame is encircled with a twisty gold plated silver wire adding a bit of color and detail. It is marked 800 on the reverse attesting to its Italian origins and is in excellent condition.
