This is a lovely gold plated sterling silver brooch / clip combo made circa 1940. In the early 1930s the Coro jewelry company patented their Duette. It's a clever invention that allows a brooch to be separated and used as a pair of dress or shoe clips. Each bird is hand enameled to add color.
