This is a sterling silver cluster ring with synthetic rubies and clear stones made in the early 1900s. Synthetic rubies are chemically the same as natural rubies and became popular after they were exhibited at the Paris Worlds Fair in 1900. So it's not surprising that this ring is French in origin with French hallmarks on the band. There is a diamond shaped cartouche with the letters H and G on either side of an image between them which I'm unable to recognize. The other hallmark is a roundish cartouche but, again I'm unable to recognize the image within it. The pinkish red stones are open backed and look lovely when the light hits them.
