Item: This is a sterling silver oak leaf and acorn brooch made by the Danecraft jewelry company which specializes in sterling silver items like this. Despite the inference of the name, Danecraft is actually an American company founded in 1934 by an Italian immigrant - go figure. This utilizes an old style spring ring clasp that, if you've never seen one before, opens counterintuitively.
