Item: This is a 1980s polished labradorite cabochon pendant necklace with a sterling silver setting and chain. As the pendant moves in the light it gives off a rainbow like sheen similar to that of abalone shell. The pendant is likely Mexican or Navajo and the chain, which I added, has a spring ring style clasp marked sterling and is a bit older than the pendant.
