Charel - 1945 -1960s
Charel opened for business in 1945 just postwar. The settings are typical for the era but their special sauce was the bakelite panels they used. While other makers were moving on to other thermoset plastics like Lucite, Charel prefered the marblized bakelite which add depth and interest to the designs.
