Item: Antique German sterling silver chatelaine belt clip. The front of the coin depicts Ludwig Koenig king of the German state of Bavaria from 1825 to 1848. The reverse which is facing is the old Bavarian coat of arms. Though the coin was minted in 1843 it was mounted in this beautiful belt clip about 50 years later.

Signature: Crescent moon and crown (German hallmark for silver) unidentified maker's mark
