Item: This is an antique brooch with Art Nouveau styling made circa 1900. The Victorians and Edwardian were strangely belt buckle obsessed. The buckle motif was commonly used in bracelets, rings and brooches like this one. This brooch has two birds on either side and a classic Art Nouveau flora form design with a green Peking glass cabochon on the left. It uses a Victorian style "C" clasp and is in Excellent condition.
