Item: This is fun a pair of rag doll brooches with red glass cabochon heads and rhinestone accents made by Trifari in the 1940s. They were designed by Trifari's head designer Alfred Philipe.  They are gold plated sterling silver and are in very good condition showing minor wear to the gold plating and some age yellowing of the rhinestones.  They would be fun to wear as collar pins or as scatter pins as well.
